We spent the week of July 4th in Virginia this year, visiting with Shawn's Family and celebrating Justin and Janet's wedding on the 4th! In addition to the wedding and hang out time with the family, we also toured Jamestown Settlement. It was a great trip!

| Nicholas read Blood on the River. this year in school so he was particularly excited to return to Jamestown with all the knowledge he gained from the book - he taught us all as we walked around! |

| On the morning of July 4th, we went to he Yorktown parade - what a cool place to be on Independence Day!!! |

| Later in the Day we drove to Norfolk for Shawn's nephew (and godson), Justin's wedding. The entire family was there except for 1 cousin (Rachel) so it was a wonderful family reunion and a very happy day for Justin and Janet! |
