Queen of Angels school holds a special all school mass for the First Communicants the Friday after many of them made their First Communion in April. This is an opportunity for the kids to dress in their special attire again and celebrate this momentous occasion with their school friends. It is a beautiful tradition. The kids process in, then at the end of the mass they sing several special songs in front of the school church and school. After mass there is a very nice cookies and punch reception in the parish hall where the kids can visit with their friends and we can grab all those great pictures of them together. The sweet innocent joy on all their faces together on this day brought tears to my eyes! Thank you Jesus for our parish and school community and thank you most of all for giving us the Eucharist to sustain us!
