| On February 1st, I turned the big 40! We celebrated with a dinner at my favorite Mexican place, followed by carrot cake at home and many lovely handmade gifts from the kids. A couple weeks later, Shawn and I went away to the North Georgia Mountains for a lovely long weekend, while my Mom and Aunt Donna came to watch the kids. I'm so thankful for 40 healthy and happy years and pray I have many more to love and serve my God and family! |

| Shawn and I stayed at Glen Ella Springs, a lovely bed and breakfast in the mountain countryside of Northeast GA. We had stayed there once before for our first anniversary so we were excited to go back. It was perfect!...so peaceful to be surrounded by nature, with cozy comfy quarters and super delicious food - the perfect combination for me for a weekend away! |
