Shawn was the race director again this year for the 4th annual SPC 5K for GA Special Olympics. Shawn and his Knights of Columbus Council decided several years back to try to step up the fundraising efforts from the traditional tootsie roll drive for disabilities, to a 5K which has not only proven to raise a whole lot more money for charity ($23,000 this year), but has also provided a great parish/community event. It is held the Saturday before Thanksgiving and has come to be a great family event! We are so proud of Shawn and all his hard work to make it such a success!
| The kids were excited to hand out flyers at the masses the weekend before. |
