This fall, Shawn and I went on a 25 hour marriage getaway put on by Regnum Christi. This was the first time we've ever gone on a retreat together and it was so very nice!!! It was held in Rome GA , in the North GA mountains, at the Winshape retreat center which was an absolutely lovely place, spanning 27, 000 acres of nature, lush accommodations and unbelievable hospitality. The talks were inspiring and the opportunity to go to adoration and receive the sacraments, including a renewal of our vows, was unbelievable! And the best part was just the uninterrupted quality time together. We were so grateful to Kimberly's parents for watching the kids to make it possible!
