Olympic Day - which is Queen of Angels' field day - is always the day before the last day of school. Each class represents a country and has a certain color shirt. They all compete - A vs B classes in various sports from volleyball, tug of war, scooter races, jump roping, hoola-hooping, etc. At the end of the day there is an assembly where the 1st and 2nd place classes are announced and there is also a "spirit stick" , 1 per pod, for the class with the best team spirit and sportsmanship. It's always a super fun day and I was blessed to be able to volunteer again this year.
Grace and McKenna have been good friends since preschool
Libby....a friend who doesn't get any better than this!
6th grade vs 7th grade - tug of war - the rope lost....it broke!!
They all Love Fr. Paul!
On the last day of school, there is an all school mass - Fr Paul's last school mass for QA (since ehe is being transferred to another parish this summer). Then the 4th quarter and end of year awards are given. Finally the kids head to their classrooms to sign yearbooks and then they areout for the summer!!
Anna and Grace have been good friends since 3 yrs old - Anna is leaving after this year to hybrid school and pursue her gymnastics career.
Thank you for a great year Dr Arthur!
