On May 19th, 2023, Nicholas walked out of Queen of Angels Catholic School as a student there for the last time!! Starting on his first day of kindergarten in August of 2014, the Queen of Angels School - the teachers, staff, students, and families - have been helping to shape Nicholas into who he is today. They've helped him discover his gifts and talents, and learn in grow in every way - academically, spiritually, emotionally and socially. For the past 9 years, this school has been his home all day 5 days a week. Not only was he a straight A student the entire time through, but he learned to be leader through Student council and Scouts, he learned to create and think outside the box in Odyssey of the Mind and Future Cities, he challenged himself athletically in soccer and basketball, and he's made strong friendships to last a lifetime. We couldn't be more proud the young man he has grown to be and are extremely thankful for our school community for helping him be the best version of himself that God created him to be!
The morning started with the Lux Regina Mass where the 8th graders passed the light of leadership onto the 7th graders. Then the 8th graders had time to say good bye to their teachers and sign their yearbooks. Then the whole school lines up along a red carpet and claps them out the school! It's such a neat tradition! Pictured above is Nicholas with Samuel and with his kindergarten buddy Peyton, who who grew to love this year and was so very sweet to her!
