We celebrated Easter at home this year. Shawn was honored to be sponsor for our good friend, Phil Schoenecke, as he came into the church this Easter. It was nice to be able to attend several of the Holy Week masses and stations of the cross. Shawn and I went to the Easter Vigil and then we took the kids to mass on Easter morning. The kids were each able to enjoy an egg hunt at school as well as the parish egg hunt on Holy Saturday. While we always miss being with family on such a special holiday, being with our church family and friends was just as great! Happy Easter!!!
