We returned from St Augustine late Tues night of Holy Week. Though Shawn and I had to work some the rest of the week, we were still able to participate in the Holy Week Missions out of SPC again this year. This included a day of yard cleanup for a SVDP family, making cheer care bags for nursing home , and visiting St George's village to visit with the residents and help put on an Easter party there. We also attended all the Triduum liturgies which are always so lovely and impactful! Grace was asked to have her feet washed on Holy Thursday mass. At the Easter Vigil, Shawn served in honor guard as 4th degree knight, I was a lector, Nicholas, with the Scouts, started the fire for the Pascal candle outside, and Henry and Grace alter served. Of course the Easter bunny came Easter morning and left plenty of treats, including eggs hidden throughout the yard. It was a great Holy Week and Easter celebration.
