This year we enjoyed Christmas at home. On Christmas Eve, we decorated gingerbread houses and baked a whole lot of cookies! We enjoyed our traditional cheese soup, ham and biscuits for dinner, and then attended Midnight mass. The boys all altar served, Shawn ushered, and I served as Eucharistic Minister. Christmas morning was spent opening many wonderful gifts. Christmas Day dinner was again a treat with standing rib roast, twice baked potatoes and green beans. It was certainly a joyful celebration of Christ's birth!!

Unfortunately Henry was under the weather so wasn't able to join the baking fun.
Sam asked for cowboy boots and hat, and Santa delivered!
Grace's thoughtful gifts!
Samuel's creative gifts
Tickets to a Banana Ball game
Great gifts from Grandma
Aunt Mindy is always so creative
A new robe for Mom from Dad!
Beautiful decor from Henry
Henry and Nicholas got Sam a wooden recorder (he's loved playing the plastic one at school and is ready to upgrade)
New fancy spikes for Henry
Lots of great books from the Grays and Burkempers
We placed the Jesse tree in the living room this year for the first time. It allowed us to gather together as a family more easily each night for family prayers during Advent.
Merry Christmas!!
