For Christmas, Santa gave the kids the gift of a 2 day 1 night stay at the Great Wolf Lodge in LaGrange GA. It's a lodge hotel with a large indoor water park and several other indoor activities like bowling, ropes course, etc. We just went for the water park and had an amazing time!! The kids were the perfect age and the size was just right where we could choose a central location for our base and the kids could pretty much go where they wanted and we could always see them and feel they were safe. There were many different exciting water slides, a wave pool and lazy river, and just tons of fun! We went for New Year's Eve so we also stayed up late after the water park closed at 8pm, watched a lot of football, and even went down to the lobby for a late night dance party! It was a fantastic fun little get away!
This water slide, you stand in a tube on a platform and then the floor drops out from under you and you go flying down through the slide. It was by far the scariest of all - Grace never would do it - the rest of us all did - I did not like it - Shawn, Nicholas and Henry thought it was really cool - and Samuel thought it was the best thing ever and did it several times over and over!!! Classic Samuel!
Watching football from your bunkbed at midnight on New Years eve with your Christmas PJ's and wolf ears after a day at the water park - doesn't get better than that for this little guy!
