May is a lovely month here with some wonderful traditions...
Samuel's class released the butterflies they had watched evolve from caterpillars.
Mother's Day - while I slept in, Samuel decorated my door as a gift :-)
Grace's Mother's Day gift was a lovely and thoughtful slide show presentation.
And Nicholas' was a delicious dessert!
Little Man Sam finished up Lacrosse season with a "showcase."
Henry earned earned his rank and was promoted to Weebelo in Cub Scouts
Congratulations Henry!
Sam developed some good friendships this year, and just like Sam, they love their sports! Finally at the end of the school year, the Covid restrictions loosed enough that they were allowed to play with balls (most of the year, they had to play in a field with no balls or equipment at all...it led to some creative games) so these boys were excited to play football with an actual ball and not just one of their shoes!!!
The last week of kindergarten, Mrs. Toso had a fun surprise each day for the kids. This day they all got sunglasses and an extra recess.
This day they each got beach balls. They all sat around in a circle outside and passed them around to sign with sharpie so each child had a ball with all their friends names signed on it.
Nicholas earned his First Class Rank in Boy Scouts - within 1 year - quite an accomplishment, especially in light of Covid restrictions!
Congratulations Nicholas!
Grace and Nicholas continued running and doing really well in track!
Grace's favorite and strongest races were the 1500 and 800 M.
Nicholas' favorite and strongest races were the 1500 and 3000M.
Making great friends :-)
What a great group of kids!!
Last Wednesday Morning at the Schoeneckes !
Olympic Day was modified this year (due to Covid) to be Play Day Palooza - still a lot of fun! Sam's class was the "Kittens."
Henry and Colin had a great year together! Their class was the "Flying Frogs."
Grace's class, the Llama's" having a dance party
She has a great group of girls in her class - so grateful for great friends!

Sam's buddy Ross held an end of the school year party for his buddies - complete with a massive water slide and foam fight!
Better late than never - Henry and I planted some shade loving begonias in his garden his year, since it just doesn't seem to get enough sun for vegetables.
