Dear Grace,
Happy 10th Birthday! We can't believe you are already double digits! We continue to find so much joy in watching you grow into a lovely young lady, inside and out. This year you have really developed a love for cooking, so much so, that you requested to bake and decorate your own birthday cake! You have become quite helpful in the kitchen and we love seeing the joy it brings you to cook for the family! You also really love to read, most recently you've read the whole Land of Stories and The Penderwicks series. You enjoy running and swimming and are currently on the Swim Atlanta Swim Team. You chose not to play soccer any more this fall. You and Nicholas enjoy going for 1-2 mile runs together regularly. You continue to be a straight A student in school, and are naturally well organized and motivated for school work. You particularly enjoy science and art. You continue to be very creative and love crafting gifts for others or just for fun. You are super loving to your brothers and take care of them like a little mother hen. With the neighbor girls, who are a bit younger than you, you are as sweet as can be playing dolls and crafts with them and entertaining them so well. You are very independent with home learning but love being back at school with your friends and have developed some great friendships, despite not being able to see them much this year. You admire your big brother and you seem to really enjoy the two of you hanging out as the big kids. You are super sweet, creative, silly, athletic, thoughtful and just a wonderful loving daughter! We couldn't ask for any better! We love you so much from the bottom of our hearts and forever will love you!!

We celebrate her birthday as a family this year. She requested pasta salad and smoothies for dinner (both of which she helped make). She completely made her own birthday cake....with no help at all! She baked it, iced it, and decorated it...even making her own icing from scratch...all on her own !
She did an amazing job we think!!!
