This winter, Nicholas played his first season of basketball. He played in a 5 year old league through our city's rec department and loved it! He says it's his favorite sport he has played so far! He played very well too. His team, the "Bruins" was comprised of other little boys and girls who, like Nicholas, had no idea how to play basketball at all. We laughed at the first game, saying it looked like the coaches were playing chess...each positioning their players just so.... and then handing them the ball and telling them what to do. We were amazed how much the whole team learned by the last game. Nicholas learned to dribble, shoot, pass and play defense. He had a lot of fun and we really had a lot of fun watching him!
