This month Grace has been a busy bee observing, imitating and learning all kinds of new skills.* She can now effectively eat with a spoon and somewhat with a fork.
* The new words she is saying are "yes", "app" for apple, and "wa-wa" for water or drink, "this" and "that."
* She has gotten 2 teeth this month, one of which is her first molar!
* She LOVES clothes! She is constantly pulling them out of drawers and trying to put them on. She gets so excited when I buy something new and actually really likes trying them on. She tries to say shirt, pants, and tights.
* When she is hungry, she often goes to the pantry, picks out a snack, and even gets a bib out of the drawer and brings it to us, pointing to her high chair.
* She looks for Nicholas the minute she wakes up. She just loves playing with him and continues to imitate everything he does. She has started calling him "dada" too.
* She knows the following body parts: head, hair, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, tongue, arms, legs, knees, hands, feet, fingers and toes.
* She loves to have songs sung to her and listen to children's music. She has also started to do the actions for songs like, "Itsy Bitsy Spider," "Twinkle Little Star," "If You Are Happy And You Know It," "Ring Around the Rosy," and "Pat A Cake."
* She really likes to scribble with crayons and play with Play Dough.
* She LOVES books...her favorite right now is "Clap Your Hands" because she likes to do all the actions in it.
* When we go to the park, she wants to swing, swing, swing, the whole time!
