On August 11, Nicholas turned double digits!! Wow! We are so proud of our oldest son. He is a loving older brother to his siblings and is a kind hearted friend to his buddies at school. He continues to excel as a straight A student with a passion for reading, math and science in particular. He has his nose in a book any chance he gets - he loves to learn and loves to read most any type of book. His favorite series most recently are Harry Potter, The Land of Stories, and all the Rick Riordan books. His memory also continues to amaze us! He swims for the Stingrays year round, plays piano (Suzuki Book 2 currently), is a Webelo Cub Scout, an alter server, and on the QA Odyssey of the Mind team. He loves to play pick up games of basketball, soccer and baseball. He's still really into Legos and also loves to collect baseball cards. He is creative, very silly, and loves to draw. He is a loving son and brother whom we love so very dearly!!! Happy Birthday Nicholas! We love you sweetheart!

| We held a birthday party with about 10 of his friends at Roswell Park. It was a laid back afternoon full of kickball, frisbee, and capture the flag. We topped it off with Lego themed cupcakes and an ice cream sundae bar!! |
