Dearset Dad......

Dear Dad,

If I had known, your time here with us would be so short, I would have told you, many more times,  how much I love you.  I would have told you how thankful I am to be blessed with such a strong father, the rock of my family and my faith.  Thanks to you and Mom, I could not have asked for a happier, healthier childhood.  The sacrafices you made for us, have not gone unnoticed or unappreciated.  I will never forget the long days of heavy labor you put in year after year to provide for our family. I will never forget how you had to pinch and squeeze the budget just to provide a Catholic education for us.  I will never forget how you served your community, your church, your family and your friends, tirelessly and never with a complaint.  I will never forget the love and pride in your eyes when you saw how you helped all three of us complete our schooling through graduate level.  I'll always remember your silly sense of humor, your clear love and affection for Mom, and how I could always call on you for any need or question.  And as a Grandpa....well there's just no words to say how wonderful you were.  You should know your grandkids love you and miss you terribly now that you are gone - you were the best there could be as a grandfather!  That Saturday, September 8, 2018, all our lives were changed, when you suddenly fell ill and went to be with our Lord.  Please know, that you remain in each of our hearts with an immense love that burns within us and hurts a bit when we miss you.  But we are comforted in knowing you lived your life to the fullest, loving and serving in every way you could, a faithful servant, and that gives us peace in knowing you must be in heaven.  I love you Dad.  Shawn and the kids love you.  We all miss you.  Please watch over us and our family until we can be with you again one day!

Love Your Daughter,

Kimberly
