The highlight of Nicholas' summer was spending a week with Grandma and Grandpa by himself! After we left and went back to GA, he stayed for an additional week and had the time of his life! Grandpa took him fishing for the first time and he caught a total of 4 catfish and 9 sunfish (in 2 outings). They ate 2 fish for dinner that night (which he said was one of the best meals he's ever had) and brought the others home on ice for all of us to enjoy with him :-) He and Grandpa also built a birdhouse together in Grandpa's shop. Throughout the week he went swimming with cousin Alexis at Aunt Donna and Uncle Tom's pool, rode the Gator around the yard, visited Great Grandma and Grandpa, helped Grandpa grade the road, visited St Louis Mills, and even took a behind the scenes tour of Busch Stadium!! We missed him terribly while he was gone but we were so thankful that he was in such good hands and having so much fun!!! Now Grace can't wait until it's her turn!!!!
