This year, the stars aligned and Grace's State Swim meet was in Savannah, on Henry's birthday weekend, when he really wanted to run a half marathon, and there happened to be a perfect race there that weekend to run as well! So the whole family spent a long weekend, staying at an Air B & B and cheering on Henry and Nicholas running their first half marathon and Grace crushing it in the Swim meet! It was a super fun and successful weekend! Nicholas and Henry had a great race, negative splitting the whole race and averaging a 6:59 min race overall. They each finished first for their ages and were 20th and 21st out of almost 600 runners total. They ran the whole race together. Grace raced a personal best in every race she swam and she earned her first, second, and third futures cut ever (in 200, 500 and 1000 free)!!! They all rocked it! Shawn and Sam and I were cheerleaders all weekend and loved every minute. We are so thankful for these special times together!
