In April, Grace and her 5th grade class performed the "Upper Room," a simple musical drama enacting Christ's life from childhood through the Last Supper and including dramatizations of several of his parables as well. At the kids' school, this play so nicely bridges the gap between the Nativity play the kindergarteners do at Christmas time and the live Stations of the Cross that the eight graders do at Easter time. Grace had several roles - one of the narrators, a scarf dancer, and a water spirit. She and all her classmates put on a great show which we all enjoyed very much!

We celebrated Shawn's birthday a couple days early before spring break. My gift to him was the trip to TN mountains as well as a set of air pods. Nicholas and Henry chipped in together to buy him taco holders, which he has talked about wanting for years!
Grace gave him a handmade "World's Best Dad" sign for his desk and card.
Samuel painted him a picture :-)
an assortment of Alpine Bakery's finest for his "cake."
Our parish was so incredibly blessed to host a display of 165 relics of saints and blessed from the Vatican. Shawn and Sulif were the lucky to Knights chosen to help set up the display, which travels all over the world and is in a new place every single day. The kids were away in MO for spring break, but Shawn and I were absolutely in awe of the power and beauty of having so many saints physically present to us, we spent the whole evening there, and touched our families rosaries and sacramentals to each and every one - making those all now 3rd degree relics! Here are just a few of the samples of the amazing relics we saw and touched!
Hairs from Blessed Carlos Acutis
Hairs of Saint Gianna Molla
Fragments of the True Cross Christ hung on
Bone of St. Paul

Henry went to a fun birthday party at the College Football Hall of Fame with his friend Gabe.
The primary pod had a special Dr Suess Day where they can dress as their favorite book character. Easy choice for this guy!
I volunteered in his first grade class to help cook Green Eggs and Ham for the kids.
Samuel finished his first season of chess club which he really enjoyed! He earned first place in points for first graders for the semester!
Henry's class enjoyed some fun science experiments with High Touch High Tech.
