On April 23rd, Nicholas was sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit.....he received the Sacrament of Confirmation at Saint Peter Chanel Catholic Church by Bishop Joel Konzen. It was a beautiful joyful day! He chose St. George as his new saint name, admiring both his courage and his fortitude - it just so happens St. George's feast day was on the day of his Confirmation and he is the patron saint of Scouting - so it was meant to be! His sponsor was his godfather, Frank Pasini, and what a blessing it was for him to have travelled all the way from Connecticut to be present for Nicholas' special day! It was also so wonderful for Nana, Grandma, Aunt Mindy, cousins Matthew and Connor, and cousins Kevin and Kristina and girls to all travel to be witnesses of the sacrament and celebrate with us! Grace and Henry were lucky enough to alter serve and were assigned the task of holding the Bishop's Cozier and Mitre while wearing white gloves.
There were 3 masses of 7th graders - these were the Queen of Angels friends present at Nicholas' mass.

Nana stayed for another week and got lots of snuggles and reading time in with the kiddos.
