We spent the first week of Aug 2021 in Missouri. Due to several Covid delays, it was the first time we had been there is 2 1/2 years - so we were so excited to be back! It was a great week hanging out at Mom/Grandma's house, enjoying plenty of outdoor time, and catching up with family and friends.
We spent 1 afternoon at the Eisenbath Farm. We hadn't been there since Nicholas and Grace were babies. It was such a nice visit with Uncle Ben and so lovely to just roam free through the fields, woods, and creeks. We even visited with Uncle Ben's Bunnies.
Plenty of open green space to run - I love it!
I showed the kids all my old stomping grounds as a kid including the barn and hay loft.
Sam even ventured to climb to the top of the silo!
A walk through the creek
Finding treasures
Mass at Immaculate Conception
Keith's Fry Shack in honor of Dad
On the "open house" day when all kinds of cousins and Aunts and Uncles came by Moms to visit, Uncle Kevin brought this Lawn Man mower he bought and plans to fix up for Henry! Wow - so cool and so kind!!!
We visited Great Grandma one day
Samuel showed off his reading skills to her.
We went fishing with the Grays one day - no catches but still lots of fun!
One day we spent with Andy and his family at their community pool and then dinner and outdoor movie night at their house.
Since it was within the week of Nicholas' birthday, we celebrated early with family :-)
Other fun at grandma's - catching bugs!
.....Whiffle ball
Feeding Batman the rabbit
Mule rides with GiGi
Decorating the treehouse
Painting rocks
On our final night in MO, Mom treated the whole family to a night out at the Cardinals game - when they played the Braves....and it happened to be Star Wars night at the ball park so the kids all got special hoodies - what a birthday treat for Nicholas and a super fun time for all of us!
