For our family vacation this year, we headed to Florida for time at the beach and the Space Center! Uncle Randy and Aunt Bernie very generously offered their home to us - they were away for 3mo RV road trip - so we were blessed with a very nice, comfortable, free place to stay, with a pool! Shawn, Rory and the boys headed down first, while Grace and I stayed in town for a few days longer so she could compete in the State Long Course Swim Meet, and then we flew down to join them for the rest of the week. Most of our week was spent between the beach and pool, however we had a full day trip to Kennedy Space Center one day! It was a great trip!
Grace had a great meet! She placed in top 15 in the whole state in several events and had PR in every single event!
When we arrived in FL, they even had a cake to congratulate Grace on a great swim meet!
Uncle Randy and Aunt Bernie's house is in Melbourne FL, so Cocoa and Satellite Beach are both very close but we found the Air Force Base beaches, about 10-15 min from their house, to be our favorite. Lots of sand building, boogie boarding, body surfing, and just relaxing in the sun to be had on this trip!
Back at the house, we all LOVED the pool!

Kennedy Space Center so amazing! We all learned a lot this day!
