For the 3rd year in a row, Shawn was the race director for the SPC 5K. Hosted by the Knights of Columbus, the race draws about 500 runners to the SPC/Blessed Trinity campus the Saturday before Thanksgiving for a 5K run/walk and kids fun run to raise money for Georgia Special Olympics and other local special needs programs. He spent the past 9 months or so planning and organizing and it was another great event! In fact they raised more than ever, almost $26,000!!! They have raised almost $67,00 in 3 years time. So proud of you honey! We were also proud of Nicholas who ran the whole race on his own for the third year in a row! I walked with a good friend while Grace and Henry helped Daddy with the event. All 4 of the kids ran the kids fun run, even little Samuel….who took off like a shot when we said go and never looked back!
