Even with the new baby at home, we have been trying our best to keep Nicholas and Grace plugged in to several activities that keep them busy, having fun and give them their own special attention. This has kept Shawn, in particular, very busy but he enjoys every moment and particularly loves all the sports the kids are starting to get involved in. Here are a few pics of our 2 little athletes and their sporting activities with Daddy.
Shawn and Nicholas ran the Shamrock 5K for the second year in a row. This year not only did Shawn push Nicholas in the jogging stroller for the 5K (and placed 4th in the stroller division!!!) but Nicholas also ran in the "Tot Trot." This was Nicholas' first ever running race and he was excited. It was cold and early in the morning but he did great. We are proud of them both!

Nicholas earned his first ever ribbon in the "Tot Trot".....
Way to go guys!!!
Nicholas is also playing soccer this spring. He scored 4 of the 5 goals in his first game and had a blast playing!!!!! In his second game he barely even played because he was having an "off" day......the kind 3 year olds tend to get from time to time :-) He refused to play saying he was too tired.....oh well, always next time buddy.

Both Nicholas and Grace are also taking swimming lessons this spring.....
Grace did NOT like it at all the first week! Shawn had to take her out early because she was crying so much. But then he took her in the pool with Nicholas the next day and once she saw her big brother (whom she idolizes) swimming and having fun, she was loving it herself. The next lesson went much better and she really had fun in the water.
Way to go swimmers!
