The neatest part of this month with Grace has been watching her become and enjoy being a big sister! She loves to touch Henry's toes, put blankets on him, and give him his paci (although I have caught her stealing the paci from him a few times :-). She runs to him immediately any time she hears him cry. In the past week she has even begun requesting to hold him and just beams from ear to ear while she has him in her arms. When I am nursing Henry sometimes she likes to play with her dolls like they are her babies.
This month she has also kept busy following her big brother around. Like him, she has really gotten in to building with blocks and can easily stack 6-7 wooden blocks up on her own. And they both have really been enjoying the nice weather outdoors. A couple new words she is saying are "church" "please" and "duck." She makes some pretty good attempts at saying her own name and Henry's name but still has a hard time saying Nicholas. She has gotten her 3 remaining one year molars this month and now has a total of 11 teeth. She has officially gotten rid of her bedtime bottle and now only drinks from cups. She has learned to identify a circle, square, and triangle and will point to the correct one in a book when asked to. She weighs 23 lb 4 oz and is 32 inches tall and had a good well child checkup. Thank you Lord for our sweet little girl!
