Welcome HENRY DAVID PINTO!!!

We are thrilled to announce the birth of our new son, Henry David!!! He was born perfectly healthy at 6:46pm on Wednesday February 22. He weighed 5 lbs 10 oz, was 19 1/2 inches long, and has just a little bit of light colored hair. Both he and mommy are home now and are doing very well. Daddy and Mommy are so proud of our new son, and big brother Nicholas and big sister Grace are also super excited. We are all just so thankful for everyone's prayers which helped bring Henry to us safely and in perfect health. Praise the Lord and welcome little Henry!

We specifically chose the middle name David in honor of Kimberly's grandfather, David Burkemper, whom has been and still is an example of a faith-filled, loving, and hard working gentleman. We are honored to have our son named after him. We chose the name Henry in honor of St Henry, the only ever German king to be canonized (in honor of Kimberly's German heritage), and also in remembrance of family members in both Shawn and Kimberly's families.

We were thankful that labor was once again quick for Kimberly. Henry was born within 30 minutes of arriving at the hospital via an all natural labor and birth.

Proud Pappa!

Nicholas was so cute when he met Henry...he was SUPER excited...in a shy sort of way. He whispered the entire time they were visiting in the hospital and was very bashfully smiling the whole time. One of his first observations that he made of his new brother was "His hair doesn't stick up like Grace's!"

Grace was also excited to meet Henry. She likes to point to his head and say "hat" and put her finger to her mouth to say "shhhhh."

Our kiddos (with Juliana in heaven looking after them). Thank you Lord!
