Dear Samuel,
You are growing up fast - faster than the other kids it seems! At 9 years old you remain a very high energy boy. You love all things sports related - you love to play any sport, whether part of a team or in the yard or at recess. Your favorite is baseball right now, and you are playing catch, pitching or hitting any chance you get. But you also love to play football a lot with your brothers and buddies at school. You also love watching sports on TV and playing any sort of game, including computer games, card games, board games, etc. You are always up for a game and tend to be very aggressive and scrappy, giving it all you got at all games. Sometimes your competitive nature gets in the way of good sportsmanship but usually you are a good sport. You are an all A student in 3rd grade and particularly love math which comes quite easy for you. You do love to read but sometimes slowing you down to do it can be a struggle. You continue to enjoy scouting and just recently trained to be an alter server which you are very excited about. You love spending time with your siblings and particularly have a strong bond with Nicholas right now. You enjoy building legos and army men set ups in the attic play room. You are really into music, always requesting songs to be added to your amazon playlist and listening to it all the time in the car. You are still a picky eater and love sweets too much! But you are just so sweet we all love you to pieces! You love to snuggle and want to be tucked in every night with lots of hugs and kisses. You are a smart, athletic, thoughtful, creative and kind hearted boy and we love you with all our hearts! Keep using your God given gifts to glorify him in all you do! Happy Birthday!

This year he had a friend party at D-Bat in Marietta. He invited all the boys in his 3rd grade and they played dodge ball, kickball and whiffle ball, then had pizza and cake. It was a blast!
