This year, we drove to MO right after the kids got out of school on Dec 16. We were able to be there the whole week before Christmas, including Christmas, and drove back on the 26th. It was a fantastic visit and celebration of our favorite holiday with family we love! The week was jam packed with so many wonderful parties and activities and celebrations, along with just the right amount of down time at Grandma's house. We even saw snow and had a white Christmas!!! It was all just so perfect and joy filled!!
The kids love Grandma's FROSTREE!!
We were excited to make it in town in time for the annual Eisenbath Christmas party at Aunt Diane's house. It was a little smaller crowd than usual this year - about 80 something - but Santa made his usual appearance and it was so great to catch up with so many aunts, uncles and cousins!
All together - with Dad and Juliana looking down on us - we know and feel!
The night of the Eisenbath party, Andy and fam, Mindy and fam and all of us stayed the night at Mom's. In the morning, we had a brunch and our family Christmas celebration and gift exchange. This was another great family time!
A new fuzzy robe for Nicholas from Grandma
Grace was SUPER excited to get a real grown up sewing machine from Grandma!
And Henry was just as excited for the homemade big fuzzy Cardinal/Blues blanket and Grandpa's hat from Grandma!
Sam made a pearler bead manger for Nicholas
Fuzzy socks are always fun!
They all love their Grandma / Gigi!!!!!
The next day we got to see Connor play the trombone in the school band concert - it was great!
