November Fun

Here's an assortment of November activities, in no specific order - it was a fun and busy month!
Kids all made candles with their drawings on them for godparent Christmas gifts

We made sandwiches for the homeless shelter

Advent Family event to kick off the Advent season and light the QA school up

Nicholas, Grace and Henry all ran the SPC 5K - it was the morning of Sam's first communion so they ran and then had to go straight home and get ready for mass so no awards pictures...all 3 each placed 1st in their ages groups.  Grace was 1st overall female, Nicholas 4th overall male and Henry 10th overall male.  Great running guys!!

Samuel concluded his final tournament with the Sunday Select baseball team and brought home some hardware!!

Cross-country State Meet.  Henry set a goal to make top 15, he pushed himself super hard, and made it!! #15 in the state of GA!  Way to go!

Grace also ran great, she placed as 4th an individual and her girls 11-12 team placed 1st!!!
(Nicholas was unfortunately sick for this meet and couldn't run the race :-(  )

Fun times at rocket day with Cub Scouts!

Henry loves serving with the Knights and Shawn's Encounter group to make food for the new monthly SPC praise and worship adoration nights.

Grace also knocked out some service hours helping with Sunday night youth group meals.

On November 26 we celebrated our sweet baby girl in heaven, Juliana Rose.  We know she is looking down on our family, interceding for us.  We love you and look forward, and hope,  to see you one day there!!!

It was such a blessing that Mom/Grandma/Gigi was able to come to town for Sam's First Communion and QA Grandparents Day.  It also happened to be her birthday!!  So of course Sam treated her to tea in the morning :-)

And Grace made her a coconut birthday cake - all from scratch top to bottom and so delicious!

What a treat to celebrate Mom's birthday with her!!!

For the first time ever both Grandma and Nana were able to be here for QA Grandparents day and how special that it was the last year that all 4 kids are at the school!  We are so thankful they could come.  Here's some pics they took of the kids in their classrooms

Grace tried a new sport - flag football - for the BT High School Feeder team for middle schoolers.  She loved it for the first 2 practices - then she broke her knee - so had to sit out the rest of the season.  But she  loved it and hopes to play again next year!

Some of the girls met up to watch the High School girls Flag Football team play and win in the playoffs...they went on to win the State Championship!!
