June - the start of summer! That means daily summer swim team practice for all 4 kids (and daily Swim Atlanta practice also for N and G), a few summer camps, and just down time together at home and at the pool. This summer we hired our first non-family member nanny, Olivia, to care for the kids and drive them around to all their stuff while Shawn and I work (4 days a week for me). It was a great month!
Grace went to her first ever sleep away camp - Challenge Camp - a Catholic girls camp - with several friends. They learn and grow in their personal relationship with Christ, learn about being a good friend, and have a ton of fun doing all sorts of crazy things! She had a blast!
Nicholas and the Boy Scouts getting a blessing before they head out for a week away at summer camp. Nicholas actually went 2 separate weeks this summer - had a ton of fun and earned a ton of merit badges!
Welcome home - we missed you Nicholas!
Samuel soaking in the sun in the front year one lazy summer afternoon :-)
Father's Day gifts :-)
Henry even chipped in to help buy Dad a new self propelled lawn mower! (of course Henry hopes this means he can now cut the grass too - YES!)
We had Fr Lino over for dinner one night - such an intelligent and kind man!
The track season continued till the end of June when the N, G and H all competed in the State meet - each placing in at least 1 event!
Samuel with Coach Matthew's "assistant"at the meet.
Thank you Coach Matthew for a great season!
Henry and Sam both attended Cub Scout day camp
