This year for spring break, Mom agreed to take the kids for the week since Shawn and I had to work. We met her half way, in Clarksville, TN, on Saturday and gave her the kids. Then Shawn and I went for a 2 night getaway in the Tennessee Mountains at Evins Mill Resort in Smithville, TN. This was my birthday gift to Shawn this year. The resort is an old grist mill converted into B&B with 20 rooms. The spring weather was perfect and the grounds were so quiet and peaceful! We stayed in a lob cabin overlooking the bubbling creek. We enjoyed delicious meals, the beauty of nature, and some great hikes. It was the perfect getaway!!
