This year, Regnum Christi was again able to hold a Holy Week Mission trip, however, in light of Covid, it was local and modified, but still just as great or even better! Throughout the Triduum, there were several family friendly opportunities for service and spiritual growth, including major yard cleanups for several SVDP families in need, making cards and care packages for nursing homes, sandwich making and delivery of food and easter baskets to homeless and low income trailer parks, stations of the cross, confession, and all the Holy Week masses and services at surrounding parishes. We participated in as much we could. The yard cleanup and the homeless shelter were certainly the highlights for our family! Thank you God for the opportunity to serve others as you would, and practice the corporal works of mercy during this week which celebrates the greatest act of mercy ever!

Opportunities for confession
We went downtown Atlanta to Seven Bridges, a homeless shelter, where we made lunches and then went out on the streets to distribute them. Pictured, we are gathering in prayer to begin.
This was such a great activity because even the youngest can help.
