We took the last week of summer vacation and headed to Florida as a family for a little fun in the sun. We stayed in a condo on Anna Maria island, on the Gulf and had a lovely time. It's a small little island so there was plenty of our own space on the white sand beaches, but it was just big enough to also have some neat little restaurants and shops to check out.
Just arriving after the 8 hour drive from home.
Couldn't wait to get their hands in the sand!
"Two Scoops" quickly became a favorite spot to visit...daily!
And this place was awesome....design your own donu shop....
Here were our creations...tasted just as good as they look!
First day at the beach
Each of the kids enjoys the water and the sand both!!
Grace the Mermaid
We ate a special dinner on the pier where saw multiple dophins swimming right under and all around us!!
There were some perfect boogie boarding waves.
The whole family took part in the action.
Even Sam!! He was a natural and by the end of the week could catch a wave on his own without our help!
pure joy!
Our condo had a nice little pool as well which is always a hit.
Living the life....
One of many castle creations
Good bye beach...
We stayed on property in this cool little bungalow
The pool was super fun...tons of mega lego bricks to build with.
Our kids combined forces with several others in the pool to make rafts and give rides
What would vacation be without smores at night??!!
And oh boy, the theme park and water park were just awesome!! Everywhere you look, everything is built out of Legos.
Admiring one of the many "mini town" builds
Lots of fun and unique rides
And lots for Sam's age even
Getting ready to earn their "license" at Lego driving school.
Even Samuel earned one on a track for 3-5 year olds where he drove a car all by himself
The water park!!!!!
yes, all out of Legos...
Nicholas says this place beats Disney, hands down!
Thank you Legoland for a fun family trip!
