Henry 22 Months

This month Henry continues to talk more and more.  It is so cute to hear him starting to string words together.  He loves to ask to help Mommy by saying "Help Mine Please."  Whenever an answer to a yes or no question is yes, he answers "yes please."  He frequently asks us "What that called Mom?"  He counts 1 to 3 and 7 to 10 (still working on the few numbers between :-)  He loves making animal sounds, especially roaring like a lion!  Grace and Nicholas are really in to telling knock knock jokes, so of course Henry is too.  He will say "Knock knock? and of course we say "who's there" and he will usually reply "Daddy", and when we say "Daddy who" he says "that Daddy" while pointing to Shawn and laughing.  He's so proud of himself.  He is also into teasing us and trying to do or say anything to make us laugh.
He is still very attached to Mommy and cries whenever I leave, though it is usually short lived.  He can be quite impatient and possessive at this age and struggles with sharing.  He has had a few tantrums on the floor when he doesn't get his way.
He is no longer using a bottle or a pacifier.  After getting sick with sores in his mouth last month, he started refusing both and is no longer interested in either any more, which makes him the easiest of all the kids to break from the paci and bottle.
He is getting better about eating a bigger variety of foods, however he still will not drink any milk, no matter what kind, how we serve it, or how we doctor it up!
Some of his favorite activities lately include "cooking" in the toy kitchen, playing with cars, playing "babies" with Grace, and most of all playing outside "raking leaves" or playing "catch."
