Nicholas ran the sectional XC meet at Sam Smith park on Nov 1 - it was cold!
I sponsored by previous co-worker, Emily, on her confirmation and first communion at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic church in Cartersville.
Nicholas and Brigette went to a haunted house.
Henry and I went to the BT State XC meet to watch Nicholas and his team compete.
Nicholas ran really well, though it wasn't quite the race he hoped for because he got a bad cramp.
They played a little touch football after their races were done.
Way to go BTXC! You had a great season!
Samuel and the QA 5th grade visited St Joseph's for Vocations Day
Nicholas was inducted in the National Honor Society. He was also inducted into the Beta Club around this time too, but I don't have a picture of that (he missed the ceremony for a XC practice)
Congratulations Nicholas - we are so very proud of you!
Congrats new inductees into NHS!
Crazy swimmers very excited about a few snowflakes coming out of the sky in November in GA!!
Nicholas and buddies supporting Dominic Cryer on his signing day - he will attend and run XC/Track for The Citadel. Way to go Dom!!
We hosted the Alpha Crush pasta party the night before the state XC meet.
Henry and the Alpha Crush boys team had a great showing at State! Their team won first place and Henry won second as an individual!
Grace had fun swimming the annual Swim Atlanta Bill Behren's meet.
We were so excited Grandma came to visit for 10 days - she was in town for QA Grandparents day and was able to see several of the kids sports as well. We also celebrated her 70th birthday while she was in town!! It was also extra special to have my cousin Amy come with her for a few days of the trip.
Grandma treated the boys to a lunch at Lucky's!
We took mom to Gibbs Gardens for her birthday - we all enjoyed the last bit of the fall foliage!
We all loved spending time with cousin Amy!
We celebrated Amy's birthday too!
On Thanksgiving Day, Henry ran our local Roswell 5K - The Running of the Turkeys - he ran a huge PR compared to last year, placing first in his age group! Way to go Henry!
It was fun for him to run it with several of his friends too!
Nicholas also ran a race on Thanksgiving morning - he ran a 1/2 marathon in downtown Atlanta with his good friend Dom. They had a great time running together!
Our Thanksgiving feast
Grace and Sam and I enjoyed the annual Nutcracker performance the weekend after Thanksgiving.
Training buddies over break!
We visited Juliana's gravesite in remembrance of her 16th birthday in heaven. We will never forget you, and always love you, our sweet Juliana Rose!!!
