We celebrated Sam's 11th birthday with a family dinner the weekend before his birthday, Alessio's on his actual birthday (busy school night), and a friend party the weekend after. Grace made a homemade chocolate cake that was "baseball themed with candy pumpkins" at his request. She also decorated the dining room for the celebration!
At 11, Samuel is just as spunky as ever! He is very bright in school, especially in math. However, he still loses lots of points for forgetting to turn in his homework, check his work, or write his name on his paper. He is easily distracted. He is excited to be a part of safety patrol as a 5th grader. He loves to play sports and roughhouse with his friends. He is still working on not talking too much at school. He loves playing Legos, video games, reading books about dogs, and eating sweets. He is active in Cub Scouts and altar serves at church. He loves to snuggle and listen to stories about saints on the Hallow app. He loves to tell jokes and tease his siblings. He loves any and all sports, board games and card games. He keeps our family on our toes! You are one of kind Samuel and we love you just the way you are! We are so thankful for you and love you so very much!!

We held a 4-way birthday party - celebrating the birthdays of Jack, Sam, Joey and Silas - and all of the 5th grade boys came to Andretti's to eat, play laser tag, race go karts, and play in the arcade. It was a blast!!
