To kick of Henry's 8th grade year, a few moms organized an 8th grade pool party - so fun!! An amazing 30 of them have been at QA together since kindergarten!!
This year, all 6 of us ran or walked the Mustard Seed 5K. It was unfortunately pouring rain the entire time, but it was still fun any way!
Grace and swim friends had a great time together for Elisa's birthday - they went zip lining and out for pizza (and fun with one of the girl's dogs)
Henry helped lead the younger cub scouts in a faith walk on the Scout kick off day.
All dressed up for 8th grade photo day
Nicholas kicked off the BT XC season with a solid run at the Clinton Clash meet.
Grace and I had a lovely time together at the NCL Annual Tea.
Sam had blast with friends Go-Karting at his friend Oliver's birthday party.
Group work at school
Henry and Charlie went camping for the weekend at Bert Adams Scout Camp. They were inducted into The Order of the Arrow - the Scouting honor society.
More birthday party fun, now celebrating Sam's friend Finley
And yet another birthday party - this time celebrating Rhett!
Nicholas ran a 7:12 5K at the AT&T Starr Mill XC meet - after a really tough season full of illness last year, it was so great to see him back to his old fast self at this race!!!!
We are so thankful for his friendship with Dom Cryer
Henry's first XC of the season was a relay - a 2 person team ran 6K total - 3K each switching off after each 1K. Henry had a lot of fun doing this race with his good friend William.
Great friends + teammates = First Place !!
Henry's been working on his cooking merit badge.
On Aug 11, I started a new job with Northside Hospital Cancer Institute. I am now working as a PA in their High Risk Breast Clinic. It will be a big transition from part time to full time work, from small private practice, to big health system medicine, but one I am ready and excited for!
