May 2025

Queen of Angels May crowning - Henry was lead server / cross bearer and he also lead a decade of the rosary as the school student council chaplain.

Henry had one more band concert and again played very well on percussion!

Henry's friend hosted the 13/14 boys for a pre track meet pasta dinner.

Nicholas and Brigitte have been close friends all school year, started officially dating in mid February, and are regularly spending a lot of time together.



Grace and I had the lovely opportunity to see Peter Pan at the Fox theater - Grace's first time to the Atlanta FOX!

Henry helped pace his friends at a track meet.



Grandma came in town for Grace's graduation and also got to spend a few days in Athens watching Grace at a swim meet at UGA.

Sam's BSBL Pirates team won a gold ring!!





Grandma treated Grace to a mani/Pedi for graduation.

And also to a morning at Top Golf!


After Grace graduated she went back to QA to have lunch with her kindergarten buddy, Annie Manting.

Unfortunately Grace was stung at the pool party and had a mild anaphylactic reaction - this was a first  - very scary!!!  Now she will be carrying an Epi Pen and seeing an allergist.

On Olympic Day Samuel helped carry the flag for his class.


Henry had a great time with his friends at Olympic Day.  He was even selected to be the torch bearer that runs the torch in!!  What an honor!




We decided to pull up nearly all the old shrubs along the front of our house - about 25 bushes, all about 30+ years old and some that were as tall as the roof gutters!  


Shawn and Henry dedicated much time over this past school year to scouting and their Catholic faith through the study of the Ad Altare Dei religious emblem program.  They celebrated and Henry received the award at the Archdiocese mass said by the bishop at St. Benedict's Catholic Church.





Henry had fun racing an old friend, Grey Donnor.

Sam and his cub scout den visited City Hall for a tour and to learn about local government.


Lots of baseball in May!!

My coworker of many years, Diana, had her last day at GBC.  My last day will be next month!

Nicholas started his first ever official job - lifeguard at Brookfield Country Club.
