November 2024

November started with the celebration of All Saints Day.  The 4th graders process into mass with their saints they created in art class.  After mass, they put on a saints play for us.  Samuel was the "constable" in the part about Saints Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta and Our Lady of Fatima

Henry's XC team enjoyed a few Friday night pasta dinners together before their big meets.

BT XC end of the season banquet

Henry served a special Veteran's Day mass

Samuel is enjoying being a part of the Rotary Interact Club this year.

Henry helped lead a special election day prayer at the flagpole for the whole school.

All three of the boys volunteered after mass on Veteran's Day weekend, assisting parishioners to make cards for veterans at St George's Village.

Celebrating 25 years of Queen of Angels Catholic!

Nicholas was first alternate on the BT State Meet XC Squad.

He was also named virtue of the month athlete for his team.

We hosted the final Alpha Crush boys team dinner of the season (even though Henry was injured and could not run the race that weekend).

Samuel had a great rocket day with cub scouts!
Grandma came for QA Grandparents day which is always such a treat for the kids to have her here!!

She was able to visit Juliana's grave site with us on the weekend of her birthday.  Juliana would be 14 this year!  We pray to her regularly to intercede for our family and we know and can feel her intercessions helping us all the time.  We love you sweet baby girl!!  We look forward to the day we can be together again in heaven!

The kids decorated for our anniversary celebration.  It was a treat to come home to this after going out to dinner on Canton Street.
The kids played pickle ball with Mom one day at Roswell park while Shawn and I were at work.

We volunteered as a family at the Calvary Children's Home Christmas Tree Farm this year,  on the day before Thanksgiving.

Grace and I continued our fun tradition of going to see the Tolbert Yilmaz School of Dance's production of The Nutcracker.

Samuel started the wrestling season off great with his first pin!

Grace and I, along with other NCL volunteers, helped decorate a nursing home for Christmas.
