On August 11th, we celebrated Nicholas' 16th birthday! This year we decided to start a new birthday tradition - instead of "friend" birthday parties, now we will have a family fun day to celebrate, and the birthday boy chooses the day's activities, meals, etc. Nicholas chose to hike Pine Mountain as a family, eat at Pho Roswell (Vietnamese food), and have ice cream sundaes at home for dessert (no cake). It was a fantastic way to celebrate our wonderful Nicholas! (P.S. no drivers test yet - has to wait till Dec b/c didn't get permit until Dec last year)
He is officially taller than both of us!
