A couple years ago, Grandma mentioned to the kids that if we came to MO for Easter, she would get baby chickens for each of them. Well, they never forgot it, so being the Rock Star Grandma that she is, when we came to MO for Easter this year, the first thing she did was take the kids to pick out their baby chicks! Each grandchild chose one and Grandma chose one, so my Mom has now become the owner of 8 chickens! She fixed up the old dog pen to be a chicken yard and we helped build a little coop while we were there. Each of the chickens have been named by each child:
Nicholas - Larry the Bird
Grace - Cow Fila
Henry - Hank
Samuel - Stunt Jumper aka SJ
Asher - Star
Connor - Ron
Matthew - MJ (Marvin Jeff)
Grandma - Ginger
We are all very excited about the new chickens!!!
