Here are some other fun parts of the month of April.....
Our friends the Barichivich family invited us to their annual Crawfish Boil - it was a great time! Shawn's mom was in town for it as well since she extended her stay beyond the Confirmation for a nice visit.
Behind stage antics at the QA Night of the Arts - Grace and a handful of performers from the school play performed some excerpts of the upcoming school play.
Nicholas and Henry attended a City Council meeting as part of their Citizenship in the Community Merit Badge.
Shawn and I got all dressed up for the Knights of Malta annual Gala raising money for the Pregnancy Aid Clinic.
Even went out after with some friends to the Garden Room in Buckhead
Samuel received the Elijah Cup for his second grade class at school mass.
Lots of great running in the track season for Alpha Crush!
Grace had a fun birthday sleepover for her friend Brooklyn - Escape Room, swimming, sleepover...
Nicholas' 8th grade science class each had to design of structure to hold an egg, that when dropped off the top of the fire truck ladder, it would not break the egg. It was a fun event to watch for the 8th grade and their kindergarten buddies. Nicholas' egg survived the drop!!
Nicholas' 8th grade service project was to put on a fun kids carnival at a low income day care.
Grace and her 6th grade class went on the "Long Walk to Water" reflecting on the book they read about a girl who had to carry her family's water for miles each day. The kids carried gallons of water in their backpacks silently around campus while reflecting on quotes from the book and scripture.
Henry helped lead Samuel's den on a nature hike
Nans got to see Samuel play baseball while she was in town.
Fun times with Rory while she was in town for Confirmation
Fr Paul and his priest friends played the 8th graders in basketball - and showed no mercy!! :-)
