The Fall is always a very full time of year in our home. We were able fit in our annual trip to the pumpkin patch and the apple orchard amidst all the soccer games, galas and other activities this year. So thankful for all these fun times!
| Shawn and I attended 2 galas this fall (Pregnancy Aid Clinic and Regnum Christi) - all to help raise money for worthy causes we believe in and also to enjoy some lovely nights out. |
| With some of Shawn's Encounter team members and their wives |
| Henry tried out made the SPC elite team with Coach Pablo this fall - they had a great little team and a fun season! |
| Grace played the SPC U10 league this fall - it was a team full of her friends and they had a lot of fun though it wasn't a real competitive season :-( |
| Samuel played SPC U6 this fall and was a soccer machine! Most of the time he was the littlest one on the field but didn't seem to realize it, always playing 110%, running hard, never wanting to be subbed out and always scoring several goals per game! He loved every minute! |
| To the orchard to pick some apples..... |
| On the hayride to the orchard |

| A day at the pumpkin patch..... |
| Now time for carving |
| Nicholas and his friend Caleb |

| Never to be left outs Sammy.....next year, little buddy, you will be matching them! |

| This is what Samuel thought of Nicholas' and Grace's piano recital at a local nursing home. |
| Nicholas was invited by his friend to participate in an after school Lego robotics building day |
| Shawn organized the scouts to put up flags around the outside of church for Veteran's Day. |
| Grace had to design and build a balloon powered zip line for Odyssey - this was her introduction to power tools. |
| It turned out pretty well and was a prototype for a much larger version they are working on for their long term problem. |
| Shawn and the boys had the awesome opportunity to join Scott Sangrey for the Virginia Tech game in Atlanta against Georgia Tech - this was the boys first VT game they've attended and they loved every minute! |

| Henry's 2nd grade class learned about the Mexican tradition of celebrating the Day of the Dead (All Souls Day) with little alters - so he decided to make one for Grandpa :-) |
| Henry got a cooking club subscription last year fro Christmas and has been loving the monthly recipes and kitchen tools he gets - here he is making chili for us one night (with Daddy's help) |
| He'd heard somewhere that if you wear sunglasses when you chop onions that your eyes won't water :-) |
