Dear Henry,
For the past 6 years you have brought an abundance of joy, laughs, and excitement to our lives! We are so very thankful for you! At six years old, you are one unique, talkative, funny, hard-working, practical, helpful, thoughtful, and loving little guy! You remain a super outdoors type of kid and your favorite thing to do, by far, is still yard work! Yes, raking leaves, picking up sticks, trimming bushes, etc are some of the ways you like to spend your time the most! Needless to say you are a great little helper to us...and even indoors, you love to cook and help in the kitchen or clean as well! You enjoy playing with your brothers and sister but aren't too keen on playing by yourself much. You are a meat and potatoes kind of kid and also really like to sleep. You are really enjoying kindergarten so far and are a great little student - your teachers all comment how sweet you are. Your reading and writing has really come a long way this year, and while you'd still much rather be outdoors in nature, you do your best with your school work and are doing great! You also enjoy playing soccer, attending all Cub Scout events (you can't wait to become a scout), camping, playing Paw Patrol, and riding your bike. You learned how to ride your bike without training wheels a month or two before your birthday! You pray from the heart and always seem to have a practical word of advice for everyone. You are still a big talker and like to be silly as well. Your personality shines like the sun and we are so blessed to bask in the beautiful warmth of your presence! Happy birthday sweetheart, we love you with all our hearts and always will!

| Henry specifically requested that he celebrate his birthday with Mommy since they fall a couple weeks apart. It was so very sweet how important it was to him that we celebrate together...I loved it! Grandma and Grandpa came into town for the event and our good friends, the Schoeneckes, also came over for the party at home. It was a "camping" theme at Henry's request. |
