Well, at 18 months, Samuel is busier than ever and remains a bit of a handful! He never sits and plays quietly, instead he is always climbing up something, opening drawers and cabinets, and putting things in his mouth. He certainly keeps us on our toes more than any of our other children! He is also the most snuggliest of all the kids though! He is not shy of strangers and always seems to have a hug for everyone. And for us, the hugs and kisses are endless from him, it is just so sweet! He is talking up a storm these days, now saying "nick" for Nicholas and "grace." Henry sounds more like a 2 syllable mumble but it's a good effort. He has added numerous other words to his vocabulary this month, so much so that I haven't been able to keep track any longer. He basically tries to repeat anything we say now. He even points to himself now when he sees a picture of him or we say his name. He loves to "mop" with the kids' mop while I sweep the floor and follow me around most of the day, often leaving a path of destruction in his tracks. He is not a shopper at all so it is difficult to run errands with him. He does love nursery rhymes (often says words from some as soon as he sees them) and books (Good night Moon, Hop on Pop, I Love You More Than Rainbows are favorites) so those will entertain him for a little while. At home he enjoys playing with the Jack in the Box and bubbles now. He also really loves to be outside doing anything. He has developed a new fear of the vacuum cleaner and the leaf blower lately and comes running to be held when he hears them. We still find it very difficult to get him to try to eat much, he just refuses to try anything. While Samuel challenges us in all new ways, we certainly could not imagine life without him and love him with all our hearts!!!

| He hadn't seen Nana since he was 2 mo old but he warmed right up and loved spending time with her. |
| "mopping" the floor…which basically means swishing his mop into the piles of dirt I sweep! |
| This is what I found when I walked in the room after being gone for 1 minute…not an unusual circumstance at all! |
| He enjoys the little tool bench a lot these days. |
| Hunting for Easter eggs on his own for the first time this year. |
| Happy Easter! |
| Sweet, sweet Samuel! |
| He loves to use the "blower" , as he calls any of the toy yard tools we have, to help Henry. |
