Samuel continues to be a very busy little guy at 14 months old. This month, he made the transition to a full time walker, with no more crawling! He toddles all around the house, often leaving a path of destruction every where he goes :-) He loves to climb on anything he can too. In fact, we had to put the Christmas tree up in the "lego room" this year where he is not allowed and we can close the doors off, for the safety of him and the tree! He noticed all the holiday decorations right away throughout the house and likes to point to them and say "oh." He has been talking a little bit more this month too, saying "mmm" when he want to eat, saying "ball" any time he sees one, and "rock, rock" for his rocking lamb. More than any other word though he says "mama" a lot! Separation anxiety has set in and he has become quite attached to "mama," wanting to be with me at all times and getting very upset if anyone else tries to put him to bed at night. He follows simple commands well, such as when we ask him to put a book away or to go get a toy. He has learned his first body part, his feet, and has also started blowing kisses. He still LOVES to give hugs...to any one! He reaches for and goes to any one, whether he knows them or not, to give them a hug (laying his head on their shoulder and saying "ahhh") and then always wants to come right back to mommy. We just love what a sweet little snuggler he is! Our biggest struggle with him continues to be changing his diaper...he just can't stand it and puts up a fight every time. He also remains a very picky eater. This month he has started becoming much more interested in books, very often bringing them to us, plopping in our lap and waiting for us to read to him :-) Sam, you are one of a kind, super active, super snuggly little guy and we love you to pieces just the way you are!!

| Now that he's walking, he loves to carry things about the house. He's bringing me his favorite book, The Foot Book, for about the 10th time in a row in this picture :-) |
