This year we stayed home for the holidays. It was a little strange to not be with extended family for either Thanksgiving or Christmas but it was also nice not to have the stresses of travel with the kids and new baby. We chose to have a family day together to celebrate. Shawn cooked our Thanksgiving meal and it was delicious! We enjoyed turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie.
As we reflect upon the past year, we realize we do have so much to be thankful for. Thank you Lord for our health and safety, for our family and friends, for our home and church, and for the blessings each of our children bring to our lives!! We give thanks!!

| He also led us in the prayer before the meal...he is really into "reading" prayer books and leading us in prayer these days :-) |
