To celebrate Grace's 4th birthday, she chose to visit the Build-a-Bear store to make a Hello Kitty doll and then to have a family party at home. This was our first visit to this cute store and all the kids really had fun. Grace chose her doll, it's clothes and took part in all the details of making it her own. At home, Daddy grilled hotdogs and hamburgers and Mommy made spinach salad with no onions....the menu requested by Grace. We enjoyed a Hello Kitty cake and homemade strawberry ice cream, also requests of hers. Grace was once again very excited for her birthday and enjoyed not only planning the menu, but also specifically requested "lots of decorations" to include "roses, balloons and Hello Kitty decorations." So there you have it, a fun party for our sweet 4 year old girly girl, Gracie Grace!

Grace's actual birthday fell on a Tuesday, a school day for her, so she was also able to celebrate with her friends with a Hello Kitty Rice Krispy treat picnic outside on a beautiful fall day. She shared with them a picture of when she was a baby, something she was proud of (her gymnastics medal), and a favorite toy (new Hello Kitty doll). Daddy and Mommy both were able to come, and read one of her favorite books, Angelina Ballerina, to the class. |
