Grace is 3 Years Old!!!

Our sweet little girl turned 3 years old today!!  Grace, the past 3 years, you have filled our hearts to the brim with love and joy!  Your smile and giggles are contagious.  You have a soft, sweet side that we see when you snuggle up with us in bed every single morning, and an energetic, loud side that we see when you and Nicholas play together sometimes.  You are most interested in playing with baby dolls and princesses right now.  You like to play school and circle time with your dolls as well as dress up and play house.  You also enjoy reading books, doing puzzles and building blocks with your brother Nicholas.  Actually, you love to do anything with Nicholas!  You admire him so much and are his side kick at all times at home.  You are also very nurturing to Henry, always seeming to be looking out for him and interested in taking care of him.  You love the outdoors, particularly swinging, riding bikes, or playing in your play house.  Your favorite books right now are Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes (you know lots...probably at least 20), your Fairy Tales Book (especially the stories of Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, The Three Little Pigs, and The Three Little Bears), and anything with Curious George.  You like to watch Barney and My Little Pony videos.  You enjoy music, singing and dancing but will get shy if asked to perform.  You are very talkative and outgoing at home but in public you are much more reserved and quiet.  You LOVE school and ask to go every day.  You are also really enjoying your gymnastics and dance classes right now.  You know all you capital letters, some of the sounds, and a few numbers.  You can tell us how to spell your name and what date your birthday is.  You are quite independent, regularly dressing yourself, washing yourself, and buckling your own car seat straps.  You are fully potty trained, both day and night, and are quite independent with that as well.  You are a great eater, though you still do love carbs!  Grace, thank you for all the love and joy you have given us these past three years!  You are an enormous blessing to us and we are so thankful for you!  May God bless you this year!
